What's in the update? Welll......


New Additions:

2 new triggers.
4 new barrels.
4 new stocks.
2 new grips.
8 new magazines.
4 new bullets.
Added a few more room variants.
Added a Skeleton Spider boss.
Added a Ancient Mage boss.
Spikes will now retract into the ground once all enemies are killed.
Added a reload button to right click, for those who struggle to press R.
The game can now be paused.
Performance optimizations.
Added highscore functionality.
Added a main menu.
Added an options screen.
Added the ability to turn off screenshake.
Added the ability to turn off blood.
Added a highscore listing for each difficulty.
Added the ability to toggle fullscreen.
Added the ability to turn off music.
Added the ability to disable CPU intensive effects.
Added a proper death sequence.


Effects and Sounds:
Made treasure much more appealing.
Added a new pickup effect.
Added a red overlay once the player is hit, making taking damage more obvious.
A red outline has been added to enemy strikes, making them more obvious.
Changed some of the fonts to read more clearly.
Updated several HUD elements.
Reduced several effects to rid of screenclutter.
Fixed some inconsistant effects.
Added sounds upon reloading different mags.
Added sounds for killing each enemy.
Added sounds for each enemy attack.
Added sounds for effect elements.
Added sounds for each different bullet.


Making The Game Easier:
Adjusted monster spawn thresholds to be less overwelming early on.
Zombies will move slightly slower.
Spiders shoot slower.
Fairies shoot slower.
Removed some of the firerate penalty from Missiles and Nukes.
Gold now caps out at 100, but prices in stores have been lowered.
Made melee enemies range more forgiving.


Making The Game Harder:
Lowered amount of shop hearts.
Angel will no longer get extra gold.
Boss HP scaling has been increased.
Attachments will drop slightly less regularly.
Lowered the amount of money given out throughout the game.
Bouncy attachments have been lowered from 2 bounces to 1.
Shotgun barrels now have a slight firerate decrease.
Sped up some of Slime Boss phases.
Money attachments give a chance to provide more gold, not a garenteed bonus.
Lowered Gun Knight and Gun Maiden's HP to 3, from 4.
Ranged enemies will fire faster depending on the room you're up to.
In later rounds in the game, weaker enemies will be replaced with stronger varients.
Lowered the amount of gold the boss drops.
Monsters spawned by bosses will no longer drop gold or items.


Bug Fixes:
Fixed a bug where star items weren't making the player immortal.
Fixed a bug where the cryo barrel wouldn't remove it's cryo effect upon being dropped.
Bullets are less likely to hit walls when standing next to them/being inside of them.
Changed the enemy AI so hopefully less will get caught on each other.
Fixed a glitch where picking up a dagger and dropping it would cause you to gain infinite firerate.
Fixed an issue regarding the wrong amount of HP showing up in the HUD.
Fixed a glitch where slimes were giving more gold than they were meant to.
Fixed a bug where boss fights that went on for too long wouldn't loop the music.
Fixed a glitch where hit sounds wouldn't play when shooting bosses.
